If you're looking for a high quality piano with a stylish and modern look, this could be just right! Built in Kemble’s Milton Keynes factory in 2001, after Yamaha had bought them out. It is very, very close in design to the benchmark Yamaha U1, and includes the same Yamaha action. It has a very good string length so good strong tone throughout and lots of dynamic contrast available for those working on advanced level repertoire. We really like the English made pianos from Kemble / Yamaha around this time and this is a particularly nice example. This has been only very lightly used, however the case was badly sun faded in places so we have had it professionally stripped and refinished in this stylish dark blue colour - a truly unique piano which will be ideally suited to a modern styled home or perhaps a more traditional property with some similar colours in the room.



Price includes delivery within 100 miles, matching stool and 5 year warranty. £75 delivery for most of the rest of England & Wales (ground floor).


Tone and tuning

Stunning bold, rich and full tone throughout the registers and a large dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440).



Keyboard and action

The keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays perfectly smoothly across the whole keyboard with a light to medium weight. Very expressive and responsive for developing or advanced level players.



Hammers and strings

The hammers are in excellent condition with hardly any wear at all. Strings in excellent condition also.



Soundboard

As new condition - no cracks or splits.



Case

The case has been professionally refinished in our custom colour ‘Deep Sea Blue’, with a satin finish. It is on casters, which have been oiled and move well. Matching height adjustable stool is included in the sale - the velvet top can be recovered if another colour if that would be preferable.
