Time for Pets | Dog walker/Pet sitter in Leith, Edinburgh

Hi my name is Claire and I live in the Leith area of Edinburgh. I’ve always been around animals, and can’t imagine a job I would enjoy more than to walk/look after your beloved creatures! I’ve got lots of experience around dogs, cats and small furries (mainly rats as I have 4 of my own!). As I don’t use a van, all dogs will be picked up & dropped off on foot and walks will be done locally. Perfect for dogs who get travel sick, are nervous around vans or are elderly ☺️

- Based in Restalrig, and operating in & around Lochend, Leith Links & Seafield areas.


• GROUP/PAIRED DOG WALK (£12 per hour)

I will walk your dog for one full hour, in either a pair or group of 3. It’s more important to me that your dog has a great personal experience and all the attention they deserve.

• PUPPY VISITS (£10 per 30 minutes)

I will visit your puppy once or twice a day at your home and give them all the cuddles and play they can handle. I will take them outside to relieve themselves and any messes made indoors will be cleaned up. Their water/food bowls will also be refreshed if needed.

• SOLO DOG WALK (£15 per hour, £10 for 30 mins)

For nervous or reactive dogs. Walks will be tailored to the individual dog, depending on whether they are the more energetic type or if they prefer a laid back stroll.

• SHORT DOG WALK (£8 per 30 mins)

For the dogs who need a shorter walk but are still able to be part of a pair/group. Also for the ones unable to walk as far, I will give them a short, slow paced walk.

• CAT SITTING/SMALL ANIMAL VISITS (£10 per 30 mins)

Whether you have a cat or any small furries, I will visit them once or twice a day for some love and attention. Your cat will get lots of chin rubs and I will refresh their food/water as well as cleaning out their litter tray. Small furries will get out for some human interaction and again I will refresh their water/food as well as cleaning out litter trays if needed.

I think for animals like this it’s important that they are within their own home as I know they can get easily stressed when moved around. However if you feel this isn’t suitable, other arrangements can be made for animals such as hamsters, rats, guinea pigs etc.
