Part-Time Pest Control Technician — Pest Hub Part-Time Pest Control Tech Needed – South London

Pest Hub is looking for a part-time pest control technician.

📍 Must be able to get to our base in Mitcham each shift 🗓️ 2-3 days a week (rota changes weekly) ⏰ 9:30am – 7pm 💷 Cash in hand available

Good with your hands? Trade experience (plumbing, electrics, building, handyman etc) is a big plus. Pest control experience helpful but not essential – we'll train you up.

Driving licence a bonus but not required.

About the Role

We're looking for a Part-Time Pest Control Technician to help deliver our pest control services across London. This role doesn't follow a fixed weekly schedule — you'll work 2–3 days per week based on a rota that changes weekly, so flexibility and availability are important. Each working day starts at our Mitcham base before heading out to jobs.

You maybe buddied up or you will work solo.

We specialise in Heat Treatment for Bedbugs, so need to be able to deal with heat. Rooms will go hot so have to be able to manage it. Skills will be taught on how to manage heat treatment.

You will be expected to engage with customers, explain processes and procedures, and upsell where possible.

Driving to jobs will be important as well. We will still consider you if you do not drive.

What You'll Be Doing

Meeting at the Mitcham base each shift before travelling to jobs
Attending residential and commercial jobs across London.
Carry out heat treatment and proofing works.
Working independently and following job instructions accurately
Providing friendly, professional service to customers
Keeping accurate records of work completed

What We're Looking For

Good with your hands and comfortable doing physical, practical work
Hands-on experience in a trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical, construction, maintenance, handyman work, etc.) is highly valued
Previous pest control experience is a bonus but not essential — full training provided
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable with a changing weekly rota and variable working days
Must be able to travel to and from our Mitcham base at the start/end of each shift
A full driving licence is desirable. Vehicle provided.
