Private Client Paralegal - Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

The Opportunity

A reputable law firm in Birmingham is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join their team. This role is focused on supporting the Private Client department, primarily in the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), while assisting solicitors in providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation and drafting of Wills and LPAs.

Meeting clients to take instructions and ensure accurate information is captured for solicitors.

Liaising with clients to gather information and provide updates on their cases.

Managing and maintaining client files and records in line with firm procedures.

Supporting solicitors with document preparation, correspondence, and case administration.

Ensuring all work complies with the firm's policies and SRA regulations.

About You

Experienced Paralegal or legal assistant, ideally with some exposure to Private Client work.

Knowledge of Wills, LPAs, and basic Private Client processes.

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and support the team proactively.
