Description
One of our government clients is looking for an experienced Information Rights Lead to join them for a 6 month contract. They are offering £490 per day Outside IR35.
This role involves providing expert advice and support on complex information rights cases, including FOI and data protection matters, and leading on high-level internal reviews and ICO complaints.
Our client is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. They offer hybrid working, this role will require a minimum of 3 days onsite working per week.
This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Exceptional knowledge of information rights legislation (FOIA. DPA/GDPR).
• Practitioner certificate in data protection and Information rights
• Extensive experience in data privacy laws and regulations
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communications skills
• The ability to interpret and apply official guidance and case law to inform decisions on cases.
Desirable:
• Central Government experience.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities
