Description
This is an oil painting which is the artists reimagining of the famous 19th Century painting by Lady Butler called ‘Scotland Forever’.
This depicted the charge of the Scots Greys at Waterloo.
The artist appears to have applied the oils with a pallet knife giving real definition amongst the paint.
I purchased this painting new from a gallery in Cardiff in 1984 for the princely sum of £120.
I love the painting but I am downsizing so unfortunately it has to go.
The painting measures just under 30 inches wide, by just 20 inches deep, excluding the frame.
I am only asking £35 for the painting as long as you can collect from Rhoose.
