Watercolour by Charles Goddard Napier, 1889 - 1978. Painted around the 1920s. In original frame under glass.
Napier was a Scottish artist known for his watercolour paintings, often featuring landscapes and cityscapes of Edinburgh, and of other parts of the UK and Europe. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSPW)
The painting was purchased by my great grandfather, who was an art teacher. It was purchased from Aitken Dott and Son Fine Art, Edinburgh, founded in 1842. The gallery still operates, and is now known as The Scottish Gallery.

Dimensions of painting only: 32½ x 21cm
£100 will secure it. Available for collection or free delivery in Bishopbriggs, or I can deliver it to the Glasgow area for an extra £10.
