Description

We are recruiting a Volunteer to join our fantastic and hardworking team to join us as our Youth Programme Manager at Urban Youth for approx. 7 hours per week (flexible however you will be required some evenings with occasional weekend daytimes in line with our core service hours) in London.

Urban Youth is a unique and award winning youth charity providing services to young people aged 11 to 25 years old in London that empowers young people through activities, programmes and events that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on life skills, social issues and personal development, INSPIRE a new generation and CREATE active citizens within the community, helping the next generation of citizens to aspire and be the best they can be. We also aim to CHALLENGE the negative stereotypes society can have of young people by promoting the good that young people can do.

We are looking for a self-motivated, forward thinking, solution focused and creative individual with great people, communications and presentation skills to lead Urban Youth’s Youth Team. The Youth Programme Manager will be responsible for developing and managing Urban Youth’s youth programmes, ensuring we provide outcome based, high quality youth programmes for young people aged 11 to 25 years old in London, increasing the number of youth led programmes, as well as giving young people a voice and key input into the running of Urban Youth, giving young people a bigger voice in how Urban Youth is run and managed and giving young people leadership skills, new life skills and opportunities to improve their personal, social, educational, health and employment development.
