Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a U.K registered charity (no: 1117222) that helps orphan children overseas by providing them with basic necessities.

We currently have a vacancy for a telesales person that has great people skills with a polite and professional telephone manner.

We are looking for an enthusiastic TELESALES PERSON - Paid Position.

SALARY : minimum wage

Working Hours: The right candidate will be expected to be fully flexible with minimum 4 hours a week (could be any day of the week). The hours can be extended depending on the individual’s performance.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: Although you do not need previous experience you should have a great telephone manner with the willingness to learn as additional training will be provided. Ideal candidates will come from either retail or customer focused environment. Any previous call centre, phone based work experience would be highly desirable.

Your duties and responsibilities as the Customer Services Telesales Fundraiser / Telephone Charity Fundraising Telemarketing Advisor:
• Making Telefundraising calls to supporters and potential supporters
• Achieving targets on number of contacts, dials, response and value
• Achieving targets on email capture and quality control
• Be the voice of the Charity, and passionately deliver the vision, aim and purpose to the supporters, whilst maintaining a minimum complaint level
• Contribute to the Telefundraising plan and assist the Telefundraising Manager and Team Supervisor on tasks as required.

Customer Services Telesales Fundraiser / Telephone Charity Fundraising Telemarketing Advisor required skills and experience:

• Call Handling experience preferred, although not essential as additional training will be provided
• Confident, with a friendly and professional manner both in person and on the phone
• Create good relationships with each donor on the phone
• Ability to work alone and in a team
• Ability to follow scripts and deliver the Charity’s message in a polite and professional way whilst adhering to fundraising standards
• Target driven and self-motivated
• Previous experience within a Retail, Call Centre or other phone based environment would be desirable
• Eligibility to work in the UK
