I’m selling my Chevrolet Astro Van, a rare gem that’s becoming increasingly hard to find. If you’re a fan of these vans, you’ll love this one! I’ve owned it for two years, and it’s been an absolute dream – perfect for camping trips, road adventures, and even taking my band on tour to Scotland! Unfortunately, I have to part with it as I need the money for a house project
🔹 Specifications:
• Model: Chevrolet Astro (1997)

• Mileage: 95,000 miles (was 75,800 when I bought it)
• Engine: 4.3L TBI Petrol (4,300cc) – approx. 190 hp

🔹 Maintenance & Highlights:
- The engine is the star of the show – runs beautifully and has had all new spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotary arm.
- Meticulously serviced – 4 oil changes, 2 transmission oil changes, air filters, plus regular maintenance in the last two years.
- New tyres (fitted a year ago – they last ages on these vans).
- MOT til March 2026.
- Interior in vey good condition for its age, with a fully functional electric rock-and-roll bed in the back.
🔹 A Few Quirks:
- Blows cool air but not full aircon – something might need fixing, but I’ve never needed it.
- Air blower works perfectly, but the resistor has gone, so it only runs at one fan speed.
- Cosmetic wear & sun-faded paint – and, mysteriously, an eagle is slowly revealing itself on the bonnet 🦅.
