About the Sharping Levers:
Masao Aoyama, the predecessor of Kenzo Aoyama, put his heart and soul into the development of the Aoyama sharping lever. He uses solid brass and plated with gold, levers which are both smooth and tight-locking which mahes them easy to flip up and down. They do not scrape the strings and cause breakage, which can be a common enough problem with many styles of sharping levers. Most harp manufacturers now adopt the Aoyama style of sharping levers, which is a great tribute to Masao Aoyama's skill and originality.
