Description
Ortovox mountaineering / skiing snow shovel. Essential safety kit for off-piste skiing or climbing where there is avalanche risk. Quality & clever, robust, compact & lightweight, this snow shovel can be configured short or long, left or right handed. It disassembles into 3 parts <40cm for easy packing / travel. Telescopic handle extends shovel from ~63 cm to 85 cm for fast ergonomic digging. Handle made of aluminium and shovel of a special rigid hard-wearing plastic. It's extremely well made.
These retail at ~£50. This one has seen little use, and is in excellent condition, with minimal scratches on the shovel, and virtually none on the handle.
