About us:
The Cheerleading Company is looking for someone to be in charge of the delivery of our dance parties – and it is as fun as it sounds!

The company started nearly 10 years ago, and was the first in the UK to provide cheerleading classes for hen parties. Since then, the company has expanded to offer more than 20 different dance parties and to cover stags and team building. They are also the company behind Pineapple Cheerleaders – the cheerleading performance team, in conjunction with Pineapple Dance Studios.

Job Description:
We are looking for someone to manage the hen parties section of the business. You will be reporting directly to the company director, and will be responsible for delivery of all hen parties across the UK, with a team of fantastic coordinators under your leadership.

This is a varied and exciting position which includes everything from winning sales from customers to helping junior team members develop their skills. It’s a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic and motivated to take ownership and responsibility for all aspects of delivering dance hen parties across the UK. The role involves Customer Service, Sales, and Team Management. The Cheerleading Company have a positive fun energy, and a strong attention to detail. We care about our team, customers and the quality of the product we deliver. In this position you would need to reflect our company values. You’d be responsible for maintaining our excellent record of customer service and upholding our company promise; we never cancel a party. You’d be in charge of identifying and preventing potential problems before they occur and for making sure that the booking process runs smoothly for our dance hen party customers. The role would also include motivating and guiding the team of hen party co-ordinators to successfully achieve sales targets whilst simultaneously ensuring that a high quality of work is delivered across the board. You would also be responsible for allocating the workload for junior members of the team and implementing our career development program to help expand and develop their skillset. Depending on your skillset and experience there would also be an opportunity to be involved in other areas of the business including marketing, SEO and Website.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing a team of booking coordinators and venues coordinators
• Answering questions & providing support
• Organising the allocation of work for the team
• Ensuring smooth running of our bookings
• Delivering on sales targets
• Keeping financial records of sales up to date
• Responsible for the training & career development of the team

Key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an admin role (ideally with sales, customer services
and team management experience)
• Proven ability to manage a group of people
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility of the admin teams tasks
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
• Initiative and enthusiasm for problem-solving
• Strong phone sales skills, and a skilled negotiator
• Confidence with IT and MS Office

Location: South West London

Contract: 1 year freelance contract

Hours: Weekdays 10am-6pm plus 1-2 Saturdays a month (with time off in lieu)

Salary: £20-£25k (£20k plus performance-related bonus)

Start date: tbc
