Description

Fenner Power Transmission Gearbox. I purchased this unit some time ago, and although the motor was 3 phase, on reading the info plate,
I stupidly thought it could be wired for 230v, Wrong. I was going to try and get a 230v motor, but due to health, will not be carrying on with this project. It's a quality made product, and came with the motor, which I still have if you wanted it with the gearbox. The gearbox has two output shafts which measure approx 24mm, in diameter, the input drive aperture is approx 14m, the reduction is 36:1. It comes with the motor (if you want it) and two extension add on shafts, with key ways (see photo's) they measure approx 25mm in diameter, plus two plastic drive cogs. The gearbox is mounted on a thick alloy plate. I would imagine that the output from this unit would be quite substantial, with endless possibilities. It could probably be run off of an old lawnmower, or generator engine, and someone suggested building a log splitter. Although only approx 19 inches long, it's very heavy. Thank you. £30
