Original oil on canvas by French artist Marcel Martin (1894-1978).
Representing the famous place du Tertre, in Montmartre, Paris, where the “bohème” painters used to gather since the late 19th Century.
Unusual view of the Sacré-Coeur basilica from a high point over the square.
Probably painted in the 1940's or 1950's.
Professionally framed in brush painted hard wood.
98x80 cm with the frame.
Painting is 70x50 cm.
Very good condition.
