WANTED: Musicians for Western/Old-Time Country Band in Glasgow! 🤠

Howdy folks!

We're Rex Hooper & the Gunsingers—a Glasgow-based band playing original Western songs with a big nod to the golden era of country, bluegrass, honky-tonk, rockabilly, and cowboy ballads.

Right now, we’ve got double bass, mandolin, and lap steel—but we’re looking to expand the gang and take our sound to the next level.

We’d love to hear from players who are into:
🎻 Fiddle
🪕 Banjo
🎸 Lead guitar
🥁 Drums (brushes or boom—both welcome)
🎺 Harmonica
🧨 Or any other instrument that fits the vintage country sound!

We're all about cinematic, rootsy vibes, tight arrangements, and having fun while making music that gets people dancing, dreaming, and feeling like they’ve just stepped into a saloon or barn dance.

We rehearse in Glasgow, gig across Central Scotland, and have a bunch of shows and video projects in the works. Good people, good energy, no egos.
