I am writing this review to warn others and to be completely honest about my experience. I contacted him because my home had been repossessed and I urgently needed furniture removed. I explained this distressing situation clearly and sent a full list of furniture and photos in advance. I agreed to a rate of £80 per hour for two people based on what was discussed. This is what actually happened: • A small van arrived, which was never disclosed beforehand. • My own handyman lifted and organised most of the work. • He arrived late and did very little physical work himself. • He stopped during the job and had my handyman pay £20 for his food. • At the drop-off location, he mostly waited instead of helping unload. • He left behind large items (wardrobe and TV table) despite clear instructions to take everything, and did not properly check or attempt to remove them. I was later told the job took 9 hours, although it finished by around 11pm. I was then charged £75 per hour instead of what was originally agreed. At the time, I was in significant emotional distress due to losing my home and paid without questioning. Only afterwards did my handyman explain what actually happened. Based on my direct experience, I feel I was taken advantage of during a very vulnerable time. I am sharing this honestly so others can make an informed decision.
