Description
This stunning extremely old piece of English Yew Wood was hand selected by myself from a sawmill down outside Manchester. After selecting four slabs; this is the second handmade Dining Table and this beautiful piece will look amazing anywhere!!!
After milling the Yew Wood from 55mm down to its now 40mm thickness, the warp and twists removed it is planned further and with the epoxy set it gives off this beautiful table top. Heavily sanded to a 400 grit sand paper the table is extremely smooth. The table stands 75cm tall and will easily sit four.
The table legs are from Stoaked in Southern England and give a fantastic rustic almost industrial look and finish to the table.
Looking amazing in any setting, room even or colour scheme this emerald green epoxy resin added to the cracks finishes off the look with a touch of class!
Once all processes are complete and I’m happy with how it’s looking; the Odies Oil Dark applied and this is what gives off the stunning overall look and natural colours of the grain. The Odies oil is an organic 100% chemical free food safe product and is by far the best product I’ve used on my projects!
