Carrera CrossCity 'E' Electric uni-sex Bike

Description

Selling my E-bike as I have a second bike now so rarely use this one. It is fully working but could do with a service. There are a couple of scratches as shown in the pictures. I find it very comfortable and easy to use. This bike is 2 years old and a real bargain at £250!

Motor: The Carrera Crosscity is built around a Shengei 36V 250W rear hub electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel. The system is equipped with a Speed sensor, which automatically engages the motor once you begin pedalling to provide power assistance to your ride. As required by law, the motor will automatically stop assisting you once you achieve a speed of 15.5mph.

Battery: With a hidden internal Samsung Li-Ion battery, weight is balanced providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. The battery is protected from the elements on the Carrera Crosscity. With a battery capacity of 313Wh / 8.7Ah and a range of up to 30miles per charge the Crosscity is very capable on the daily commute or leisure ride. As standard on all Carrera E-bikes, the Crosscity comes with an integrated smart control system that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. The battery re-charges in just 6 hours.

Note - the total travel distance will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style. - Head-Unit: The electric motor of the Crosscity is controlled via a multi-function LED display –offering Low, Medium or High levels of power-assist. The display / control unit includes an integrated push button to switch between the 3 assistance levels, alongside the power On/Off button. The display is located on the left side of the handlebar and its compact size reduces the risk of damage when in use.
