Description
Although unmarked this is a Marks & Spencer candy/trinket Dish, I think it is ceramic but it could be china or porcelain, it doesn't say. It has a chrome coloured metal handle that can be removed if not wanted or for washing. Although the dish is tactile to touch the glaze finish is smooth and shiny. It has some fancy gold round the sides and edge. The sides also have diamond shaped holes in a set pattern. The handle shows very light signs of aging but it is still nice and shiny. The approx. measurements are: the top diameter is 6.3/4" (17cm), the base diameter is 3" (7.5cm) & the depth is 1.1/4" (3cm). The dish on its own weighs 0.192kg and with the handle 0.230kg. The dish can be used for a variety if things like food, trinkets or just as an ornament. The gold trim on the dish is still good. The dish has no chips, cracks, stains or anything else, it is and it was when I brought it in the mid/late 90s. I bought it for decorative purposes and that is shat it has been along with my other ornaments & things which I am now downsizing. It can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet within a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale and I would be happy go combine and do a deal.
