Description
Testing the waters with my 2002 MGTF.
•NON RUNNER•
The previous owner before me had this car sat for 5 years as it cut out on him as a suspected starter motor fault. I bought it a year ago in the hopes to get it running but unfortunately it wasn’t just a starter motor issue.
The engine does turn over but just won’t fully start.
What’s been done -
New ECU and BCU to sort immobiliser
New fuel pump and fuel
New coil packs
New spark plugs
New crank sensor
New starter motor plus spare
Everything is getting a voltage so all is in working order. Just need to figure out what’s stopping it getting fuel and spark (possibly the crank sensor as the connector is loose)
Comes with owners manual and a handful of paperwork. V5 present. 1 set of keys
It’s a cracking car and I’d be gutted to get rid of it but I just don’t have the knowledge or time to figure it out
