WORKSHOP ASSISTANT VACANCY IN MARKET DRAYTON, SHROPSHIRE!!

Do you have previous experience using hand tools and air sanders, and do you have a passion for working with vehicles?!

We are looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a long standing vehicle manufacturing business in Market Drayton, this role will be working 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, and the role comes with an hourly rate up to £12.75 per hour.

This will be working within a busy workshop and you will be responsible for preparing vehicles ready for painting, you will be tasked with sanding them down and helping other technicians within the workshop as or when required.

We are seeking someone who has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, future development opportunities will be available for the right person.

What You Will Do:

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding them down to ensure they are ready for the next stage of production.

Work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development, with the possibility of training to become a painter in the future.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support efficient work flow.

Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Contribute to the overall success of the team by displaying enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
