We're looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join a leading manufacturer of bespoke upholstered seating in Grays, Essex. This short-term contract role is perfect for someone who thrives in a workshop environment, enjoys hands-on craftsmanship, and wants to contribute to high-quality, precision products.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be part of a skilled team producing high-quality upholstered products. Your responsibilities will include:

Producing prototype customer samples

High-volume upholstery production

Overseeing stock levels and completing monthly stock counts

Managing work in progress efficiently

Maintaining a clean, functional, and well-organised work area

What we're looking for:

Experience in traditional upholstery techniques

Ability to produce a quality product with excellent attention to detail

Efficient working style to meet production deadlines

Skills in pattern making and quantity estimating
