Trainee Aerospace Assembler Cambridge GBP13.88 per hour Looking for a hands–on role where you can retrain and build a long–term career? Already have experience in a trade or workshop setting? If you ve worked in Carpentry, Joinery, Assembly, or Kitchen Fitting, and are confident using tools, this is a great opportunity to transition into Aerospace Manufacturing. As Trainee Aerospace Assembler, you will benefit from: Day shifts only Monday to Friday, with early finish Fridays (1pm)Overtime available at 1.5xOn–the–job training full support to develop your skills in aerospaceCareer progression opportunities to advance as you learnSupportive workshop environment work alongside skilled professionals As Trainee Aerospace Assembler, your responsibilities will include: Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble partsReading technical drawings and following assembly instructions (training provided)Preparing materials and ensuring components fit correctlyChecking for quality and making adjustments where needed As Trainee Aerospace Assembler, your experience will include: Hands–on work in Carpentry, Joinery, Assembly, Kitchen Fitting, or the Automotive IndustryKnowledge of milling, drilling, and cuttingExperience with sealants and glues (beneficial but not essential)Confident using drills, saws, and hand tools in a work settingFast learning and a proactive attitudeReliability and a strong work ethic If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
