Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Lincoln

Contract Details: 6 months with the potential to be extended

Shift: The role operates on a rota of earlies 6am–2pm and lates 2pm–10pm.

Salary: 17.82 per hour

As a Sheet Metal Worker you will be part of our small team who are responsible for fabrication of Haynes and Nymonic 75 components installed on to small gas turbines. You will be required to deliver fabrication of these components with access to onsite jigs and carry out seam welding.

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal productsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsOperate hand tools and machinery safely and efficientlyEnsure quality control and adherence to safety standardsCollaborate with team members to meet production deadlinesMaintain a clean and organised workspaceEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To be a successful candidate, you should have:

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar roleProficiency in reading technical drawings and schematicsStrong attention to detail and problem–solving skillsKnowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniquesAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong communication skillsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Certification in sheet metal working or a related fieldExperience with CNC machines and automated processesFamiliarity with safety regulations in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in a fast–paced production settingTechnologies:

Hand tools (snips, shears, hammers, etc.)Welding equipmentCNC machineryMeasuring tools (callipers, micrometres)Computer software for design and planningHow to apply:
