Description

Tennial Personnel is recruiting Production Operatives to join our sports equipment manufacturing client based in Clopton on a temporary to permanent basis following a successful 12-week probation period. This hands-on role involves golf mat production, machine assembly, basic maintenance, and general production support. The successful candidate will be reliable, practical, and willing to support across a variety of tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture and assemble golf mats in line with production specifications.

Assist with machine assembly, setup, and basic maintenance tasks.

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to meeting daily production targets.

Support general production duties, including material handling and stock movement.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Report machinery faults, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required to support production and operational needs.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals.

Skills Required

Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and work methodically.

Willingness to learn machine operation, assembly, and basic maintenance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, punctual, and flexible.

Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications Required

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance environments is desirable but not essential.

No formal qualifications required - full training provided.

Full UK Driving License - preferred but not essential.
