Permanent role with Hybrid working
Loom Talent are working exclusively with a growing, family owned, manufacturing and production organisation based in Wrexham. They are looking for a Procurement Specialist
(who isn't afraid of a bit of sales) to join them on a permanent basis. The role has come about as a result of business growth and is a new position!
The business spans across Europe and has a global headcount of c500ppl and turnover over 300 million!
This role will head up the procurement for the UK sites and assist them on their extensive growth plans.
The Role:
Lead procurement activity across direct (raw materials, components, transport) and indirect (services, facilities) categories, driving cost savings and value creation.Review and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and ongoing commercial improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with around 60 key vendors and internal stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Finance).Develop and execute sourcing and sales strategies for raw/recycled materials, supporting business growth and profitability.Conduct market analysis and needs assessments to identify new opportunities and optimise spend.Support continuous improvement across procurement and sales processes, providing clear data, insights, and recommendations to senior management.

At least 3 years' experience in a similar role as a Procurement SpecialistPrevious management of both direct and indirect procurementIndustry knowledge ideally within manufacturing and production, recycling or a similar blue–collar environmentAbility to be beased onsite (with flexibility to work fomr home) in Wrexham
