Description
DarcyBrook is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing efforts within the chemicals, lubricants, and oils sector.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of this specific industry and a proven track record of success in procurement, supply chain management, and base oil trading. You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive value and efficiency across our global manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the procurement category for chemicals, lubricants, and oils.
Negotiate complex contracts independently with suppliers and trading partners.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing principles to optimise costs and value.
Analyse market trends, cost drivers, and value chains to inform procurement decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and trading partners.
Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and decision–making skills.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Several years of experience in a procurement or supply chain leadership role.
Proven expertise in the chemicals, lubricants, and oils industry.
Strong understanding of market economics and cost drivers.
Exceptional negotiation and strategic sourcing skills.
Experience managing procurement in a global manufacturing and distribution environment.
