Futures are working with a Manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Leeds who are looking to appoint an accomplished CNC Turner to their expanding team. This business focuses on producing highly accurate, components for a range on industries globally.

The successful candidate will be joining a forward–thinking, award–winning manufacturing site, equipped with modern CNC technology and supported by a knowledgeable group of seasoned machinists.

Roles and Responsibilities

Taking full ownership of programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines running on Fanuc controlsManufacturing precision, small–batch components in line with tight customer tolerancesPreparing tooling and fixtures, validating programs, and managing all stages of the machining processFollowing scheduled operations to ensure production targets are consistently achievedWorking in line with strict Health & Safety and Quality standardsUsing materials and tooling effectively to maintain high levels of productivityPerforming thorough in–process checks using standard measuring instrumentsDelivering completed work to an exceptional, repeatable standardPlanning ahead to minimise changeover times and reduce unnecessary downtime Skills and Qualifications

Strong hands–on experience programming and modifying CNC turning programs, specifically with Fanuc systemsA high level of competence in reading technical drawings and working to fine tolerancesProven capability in setting and operating CNC lathes within a precision machining environmentA solid understanding of materials, tooling strategies, and modern machining techniquesA track record of producing quality work with minimal rework Click apply now for more information
