Position: Assembly Operative

Temp–Perm Opportunity

Full time hours, Monday–Thursday 8:00AM–4:30PM and Friday 8:00AM–12:30

Rate from 12.73PH

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Assembly Operatives to join our clients innovative team in Newcastle–under–Lyme. Specialising in the production of bespoke wire and cable harness and fibre optic assemblies, where precision meets excellence.

What You'll Do:

As an Assembly Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring all products meet IPC620 Class 3 standards (experience preferred).Conducting quality checks to uphold our commitment to excellence.Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive work flow.Cutting and stripping of wiresCrimp and solder terminationsHandling and application of electronic componentsHandling and application of heat shrink products and associated adhesivesUnderstanding of production drawings and documentation for wire/harness / electromechanical productsAbility to read and follow documented build proceduresAbility to follow in house procedures Attrition recording/monitoringUse of Progress Plus software – for logging job/time management

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.Experience with IPC620 Class 3 standards is preferred A positive attitude and a willingness to learn!Ability to accept constructive feedback and have the attitude to strive for continuous improvementFlexibility within the department
