Assembler
We are recruiting 2 roles for our prestigious client based in the Stone, Staffordshire area.
1 vacancy for a General Assembler – on days and 1 vacancy for a mould maker / assembler on nights
Choose to work the day shift or the night shift
These are both immediate starts – ongoing work, with a genuine opportunity for permanent employment
Days
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:00pm and 7am to 1pm Friday – Paying 14 to 16 depending on experience
Nights
Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am – Paying upto 19.00 per hour
Duties of an Assembler (days)
Heavy assembly work – large engineering parts – automotive, aviation, rail and marine Using hand tools, air tools & power toolsReading from drawings Using measuring equipment – micrometres and verniers to tight tolerances Overhead crane use to move large engineered parts Duties of a Mould Maker (nights)
Heavy work – making moulds / castings Using sand / Ramming to make the shapes – physical work Knocking off Manual work – lifting involved Attention to detail Experience Required
Factory, manufacturing or engineering work experience preferred – automotive / aviation / marine Machine operating / assembly Worked with large engineered parts previously an advantageOverhead Crane experience Quality inspection work Worked in manufacturing and production industry Location

Experience of working within a manufacturing and production background – an advantage
