We're recruiting Van Drivers for our client's busy distribution centre in Chessington. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent shifts through to the end of December, with many roles continuing into mid–January.

About The Role

As the Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet store requirements in the most efficient manner. You'll load store stock onto the van, ensure all forms are completed, and deliver to stores safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Load the vehicle each morning to ensure legal compliance and secure transit of stock.

Complete store and customer deliveries across London and the wider region.

Carry out daily vehicle inspections at the start of each shift.

Maintain full knowledge of the Highway Code and vehicle operation procedures.

Use Windows tablets to scan deliveries before loading and offloading.

Collect empty crates and returned stock, returning them to the warehouse.

Unload vehicles and move crates/stock to correct warehouse locations.

Keep vehicles clean inside and out.

Report back to the Logistics Team Leader after routes and support other warehouse tasks (picking, goods in).

Deliver stock for photoshoots and business events when required.

Report accidents, damages, or RTAs immediately.

Communicate delays/problems effectively to relevant departments and customers.

Liaise professionally with Store Managers and team members on arrival.

What to Expect

Shifts 03:00 to 11:00 or 17:00 to 01:00

Driving a company van for deliveries, potenitally including London driving.

Some light to medium manual handling involved.

Breaks included, with access to free tea/coffee, vending machines, fridges & microwaves at the depo.

Lockers available for personal belongings.

Pay & Hours

14.35 per hour (before holiday pay)

Fixed start time at 03:00am

Shifts available 4 or 5 days per week

Overtime may be available during peak

Requirements

Valid UK Category B Driving Licence.

No more than 6 points (minor offences only).

Comfortable with London driving.

Previous multi–drop or van driving experience preferred.

Must be reliable, punctual and professional.
