The glass is more opaque/hazy rather than clear.

Have been in spare room but hardly used.

These lamps do not come with shades but if you are interested in pink I have two plain shades from Habitat and would sell them for an extra £8 for the 2 shades. These shades have a larger fitting than the lamps and would therefore need a lampshade reducer ring to make the hole smaller. You can buy these for a few pounds.
