Retail Lite Sales Executive –
Virgin Media provides broadband, TV, mobile and home phone services to some of the happiest customers in the UK. We believe in fantastic products and amazing service – all provided by great people.
Making great sales isn’t just about being on the phone or going door to door. There are other ways to let potential customers know about the benefits of our products. And that’s where we need you.
You’ll be out there - on the high street or in shopping centres - to spread the word, approaching and engaging with customers as they walk past the Virgin Media stand. Once you’ve got their attention, you’ll maintain their interest by using a range of demonstration tools to give a compelling sales presentation. And, because you’ve made sure that you’re fully up-to-date with all of our products, services and offers – and those of our competitors too - you’ll be able to answer any queries or objections.
With monthly targets to beat, you’ll use your powers of persuasion to turn conversations into sales. Most importantly, you’ll provide a brilliant customer service. By asking the right questions and listening carefully to their needs, you’ll help new customers find the right products to make them happy. And if any of our existing customers have any queries, you’ll provide the answers.
We’re looking for people who will fit into the role quickly - this means you must have previous retail store sales experience.
Our products are far from ordinary, and this is no standard 9 to 5 job, so you should be willing to work flexibly, including some weekends. You should also be able to work anywhere within your designated area. Opening up each morning, you must be prepared to take full ownership for setting up the stand or trailer - making sure that it’s well-presented, and secured at the end of the day.
You’ll be meeting lots of different people, so you should be able to quickly build a good rapport. And, as well as being comfortable working in a target-driven environment, you should also have some basic computer skills and be confident working without day-to-day supervision.
