St Georgio Hotel is currently seeking a professional candidate to join our Housekeeping Department as a Housekeeping Supervisor. We are looking for a highly energetic, ambitious and motivated individual to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Housekeeping and who has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a diverse range of people in order to meet the Company expectations.
Ideal candidate will come from a 3 or 4 star housekeeping background with minimum 1 year experience in this roll.
To provide and maintain standards of cleanliness, comfort and décor in the guest areas, in order to promote the style and quality of the hotel and the Company.
To ensure staffing levels are operated within the department in accordance with agreed standards.
To ensure that staff training is carried out and maintained in accordance with Company standards.
To ensure that guest and ancillary areas are cleaned and maintained to, and in accordance with agreed standards.
To ensure that the daily work is carried out in accordance with agreed procedures.
To ensure the accurate recording and control of movements of linen and uniform in accordance with agreed procedures.
To be flexible in shift patterns and in the checking of alternatives floors when necessary.
To be aware of budgetary controls.
To ensure that no expenditure is undertaken without a purchase order signed by the Hotel Assistant Manager / General Manager.
To ensure that no presentation standards are changed without the permission of the General Manager/ Hotel Director
To ensure maintenance of agreed stock levels of cleaning materials and guest supplies in accordance with agreed procedures.
To ensure co-ordination monitoring of standards of repairs and maintenance.
To participate in the selection and induction of new employees in the department.
To co-ordinate and monitor standards in accordance with agreed procedures.
To ensure efficient usage of energy, equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with agreed procedures.
To ensure the highest standards of guest care and welcome is extended at all times.
To carry out all duties according to the hotel security standards.
To abide by the Company Grooming Policy.
To be fully aware of and adhere to Health and Safety and fire procedures
To Check a total number of 84 rooms
Annual Income: Depending on Experience- 40hours
