FINISHED in BRG complimented with tan hide interior, well presented but not a show winner .ready to use as she stands, nice interior, wearing very well, a good engine and gear box , the paintwork is 7/ out of ten but presents well , In 1967 was the first full year of production for the Jaguar 420 / Daimler Sovereign but this did not stop it from easily outselling all the other Jaguar saloon models remaining in production at the time. These included the 240 and 340 (Jaguar Mark II), Daimler 250 V8, Jaguar S-Type and 420G. Despite this feat, relatively few were made in total due to the fact that the Coventry factory stopped making the Jaguar 420 in 1968, just over two years after production began. The 420 was also the basis for the Jaguar XJ6 with the same engine, suspension and very similar dimensions as Jaguar moved to rationalise the company's saloon car range. The Jaguar 420 ceased production at Browns Lane in September 1968 and the Daimler Sovereign in July 1969 with just 10,236 having been produced. The Daimler Sovereign continued into 1969 with 5,824 being built. These production numbers make it the rarest, post war Jaguar saloon built. This beautiful example comes equipped with rarer and more sporting 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive and Adwest power steering.

due to people having busy life's ,, we offer a service where by , if a car is delivered and purchased unseen . then the customer is eligible to send the vehicle back with the delivery driver on his gurney back to us . on the same flat bed lorry , a refund for the car will be issued but unfortunately the transport will have to be charged for on both trips .
