I can't believe I'm typing this out but I feel like I've done everything I've wanted with this car and its time to move on and let someone else enjoy her, so here goes...

Up for sale is my much loved 2002 Honda Civic Coupe EM2 with Manual Transmission and 1.7 SOHC 16 Valve VTEC Engine (130bhp) in Satin Silver Metallic. I bought her in November 2011 completely standard and started modifying it to my taste. I've always liked clean subtle styling, quality parts and OEM+ style, the way I've modded this Civic reflects that.

Mods are as follows:

-Genuine Honda Factory American Only Full HFP Aero Kit (Rear Lip, Side Skirts and Front Lip) - I imported this kit from America and think it looks great! Costed me over £1000 to buy, get shipped over.

-Genuine Honda Factory Japanese only RS Grill - imported from Japan and sprayed in the same colour as the car

-Rear and all side windows have been tinted professionally by a company called SoundEvo, 50% on the rear and rear side windows and 30% on the front windows (all legal) with Suntek lifetime guarantee film

-Genuine Honda Factory European facelift tail lights which I bought directly from Honda new for £200. Look great in my opinion and modernises the rear end.

-5x114 Stud hub conversion from the EP3 Civic Type-R (EM2's are normally 4x100) along with EP3 Civic Type-R brake conversion with 300mm discs. Brembo brake discs all around and Ferodo DS2500 Brake pads up front, great stopping power! Also uprated HEL braided brake lines all around and uprated Motul RBF 600 brake fluid.

-Along with the 5x114 stud conversion I needed to get some decent wheels and I settled on original Enkei wheels from a Mitsubishi Evo 8, look great and perfect fitment (size 17 x 8 ET38), wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 K120 Tyres all around still with plenty of tread left. (Size: 225/45 R17)

-The suspension has been upgraded and lowered on Eibach Sportline Springs and Bilstein B8 performance shock absorbers. The rear anti roll bar has also been swapped out for a JDM EP3 Civic Type-R variant 22mm thick and Eibach rear camber arms and front camber bolts have also been fitted. The car had a fast road and geometry setup done last year by DC Autos and handles superbly. With the Bilstein B8 Shocks the ride is also great and comfy on the road whilst being stiff enough to be sporty and handle well. Buddyclub roll centre adjusters have also been fitted.

-Ultra racing front strut brace and EP3 Civic Type-R rear strut brace has also been fitted to help with chassis stiffness.

-Factory leather EP3 Civic Type-R Seats (extremely rare to get hold of) looks great and blends in nicely and good support around those corners.

-Genuine DC5 Integra Type-R Momo Steering wheel and Replica Mugen Metal Pedals and aluminium footrest cover, makes the car feel a bit more sporty and nicer to drive.

-Revo Technica Short Shifter and Genuine Skunk2 Titanium weighted gear knob, feels great when shifting gears.

-In car entertainment upgraded all around: Double DIN Pioneer AVH-8400BT Headunit, (nicely blends in, doesn't look out of place) with built in bluetooth handsfree and A2DP audio streaming, USB connection, DVD Player, MP3 Player and attachment for a reversing camera and SATNAV unit if you'd like to add those on. Also speakers upgraded all around, pioneer 6x9's at the rear and pioneer component speakers at the front with separate woofer, tweeter and crossover combination, factory american door tweeter pods also. And Mutant 800W subwoofer and Kenwood amplifier to drive it. I've tweaked the sound system a lot and gotten it to sound really good! You'll have to hear it for yourself.

-Also de-badged the bootlid apart from the 'H' logo, added some 12"x6" USA sized plates and Osram Cool Blue Hyper+ 5000k headlight bulbs.

-Honda Jazz Washer Jets have been fitted for a nice mist pattern.

*takes deep breath* I'm sure I've missed something minor out but thats the main of it. So the car currently its sits at 112,142 miles (at the day of writing this advert) this number will go up as I'm using it as my daily driver. It is MOT'd till 1st July 2018, passed with flying colours and no advisories. I have always looked after this car as well as I can and kept up to date with maintenance and serviced it every year under my ownership. Timing belt, tensioner, water pump and auxiliary belts were done at 91,000 miles (receipt to prove it) so that isn't due for a fair while. The car is also very clean underneath in terms of rust, I was surprised at how well the underside of the car has held up.

Car comes with 2 Keys and 1 Remote.

This car has the standard 1.7L SOHC VTEC 16 Valves 130bhp (D17 Engine Code). Bulletproof Honda D series engine that is lovely and silky smooth, at idle you can't even tell its running until you look down at the rev counter! And has plenty enough poke. Extremely fuel efficient and cheap to run also, can achieve 51mpg. I've easily get over 400 miles to a full tank of fuel (50 litres). Only costs £190 per year to tax and cheap to insure, making this the ideal daily.

I'll go through the cars features: Heated electric adjusting mirrors, electric windows, electric sunroof, climate controlled air conditioning, ABS, airbags, factory alarm system and immobiliser, remote keyless entry, Power assisted steering and others.

Now I must mention that when I bought this car it was and is registered as a Category D, I was informed that it had a small knock to the front passenger side corner which caused damage to the passenger side headlight, wing and the bumper, I checked it over thoroughly before buying the car and all is ok, it was purely cosmetic damage and nothing structural and it looks as if the car was never repaired.

This the car is mechanically sound, this car has given me zero issues and has been extremely reliable and still has many many miles of life left I'd imagine. The engine oil still comes out golden on the dipstick, that's how clean and well maintained it is!

The bad bits.

-The lower part of the front lip has a scrape on it where I stupidly and unfortunately clipped the kerb in a very narrow multistory car park (as pictured). ideally needs going over and painting to look mint.

-The exhaust very recently has developed a slight blow which would need looking at, at some point.

-A/C has stopped working, suspected condenser leaking, these can be bought for cheap.

As you can see I've had no expense spared on this car (got a folder full of receipts of what I've spent on it over the last 6 years) and it will be a shame to see her go, I did consider a Civic type R K20 engine swap or fitting a turbo to it but I've decided its time to let it go, move on and let someone else enjoy it.

This really is a one of a kind Honda and have not seen one modified to this standard. Real head turner and gets a lot of compliments at car shows.
