Description
1977 Honda CB400/4 – 16,700 miles – £3,000 UK bike
Here’s my much-loved 1977 Honda CB400/4, which I’ve owned for around 12 years. I originally bought from a friend, and it’s been with me ever since.
It started life as a yellow, slightly tatty example, but I completely stripped and rebuilt it not long after buying it. The restoration included:
Frame professionally powder-coated
New tyres fitted
Forks and headers re-chromed
Electronic ignition upgrade
Carburettors resealed last year
I’ve tastefully modified the bike to my own liking, but nothing has been cut or permanently changed — it could easily be returned to standard if desired.
The bike’s been sitting for the past few years, so it’ll need a good buff and polish, but it’s still a lovely little classic that deserves to be ridden.
Sadly, my biking days seem to be behind me, so it’s time for this one to go to a good home.
