I am selling my 1999 Honda CBR 600 F for no good reason other than simply fancying a change to something a bit different. I’ve owned the bike just over a year and I am only it’s third owner. I bought it off a gentleman nearby in Exmouth who kept it stored in a garage and didn’t ride it a great deal and now the time has come for me to sell it on as well.

The bike has only done 17841 miles and is in extremely good condition. There is one small scratch on the left side fairing, which I have pictured – this was there when I bought it. Other than that, the bike is in fantastic condition. The paintwork is very good and the there is little in the way of corrosion to the metals. The bike is mechanically sound and runs perfectly.

In terms of the paperwork, the bike comes with a full service history consisting of 8 stamps – this includes the recent service I did in October last year where I changed the oil, spark plugs and oil filter (I have receipts). I have the original Honda owner’s manual and owner’s card as well as plenty of receipts, old MOT certificates and a Haynes Manual as well.

The MOT runs out on the 19th May 2018 and it had 2 x advisories when it passed, which were as follows:
001 Tyre worn close to the legal limit Front
002 Exhaust is leaking but is not excessively noisy

Since the MOT, I’ve had 2 x brand new Bridgestone BT023 tyres fitted, which cost over £200 for the pair. These tyres have done about 200 miles of light riding so are still pretty much brand new. The exhaust leak is something I hadn’t even noticed before it popped up in the MOT so is nothing of concern.
Since I’ve had the bike I’ve made 2 small modifications to it. The first was fitting the smaller Oxford Indicators, which you’ll see pictured on the bike. I’ve kept the standard indicators and will include these in the sale in case you wish to fit them back on. I personally found the standard ones to be a bit bulky hence why I changed them. The other modification I made was to install an HID kit (brighter head light bulb) as I found the standard one a bit dim in the night time. It’s fully legal and passed MOT with it fitted and it made a good difference to visibility without blinding other road users. Again, I’ve kept the standard bulb and will include this in the sale as well. Everything else was on the bike when I bought it. It also has a centre stand fitted as standard, which is useful.

There’s not really a lot more I can say other than that. She’s a beautiful bike and I have very much enjoyed riding her. I’ve had absolutely no problems whatsoever, which is what you’d expect from Honda. If you have any more questions or wish to come and have a look, please let me know! Open to offers
