If you like Super Cubs, you’re going to love this. The Honda Press Cub has been in production since the late 1980’s and was designed for use by newspaper delivery people. It comes with a larger basket on the front and huge back carrier. Other variations on the usual C50 are the twin headlights, one on the front of the basket and go-around gears with which you can go straight to neutral from third.
This bike will be of interest to anyone keen on bikes built for a specific purpose but it is much more than just a collectable. It has the same robust engineering behind any C50, C70 or C90 and will get you where you need to go with the legendary Cub reliability and fuel economy.
Being a working bike, most of the ones for sale in Japan are quite rough looking. This is a rare example of one that is very tidy. Some small marks on the bars and exhaust are the only suggestions of its use. Although it has done 29,452 miles, the paint retains its deep shine and the metalwork looks good. She is a real rarity being in such nice condition and would be a stylish and unusual means of getting around for anyone looking for practicality and individuality.
