Description
1969 Honda CB750 K0 'Sandcast’ 736cc
Introduced in 1969, the Honda CB750 Sandcast was the first production superbike and set a new standard for performance and refinement in the 750cc class
Presented in Candy Blue Green with correct early features including left-hand horn bracket, 'wrinkle' fuel tank, smooth oil filter housing, double-cut front mudguard, rolled rear rim, red seat foam and sandcast instrument gearboxes
Fitted with its 736cc inline-four SOHC engine, 5-speed gearbox and front disc brake, producing around 68bhp and capable of 120mph
Retains its original early specification with matching frame number CB750-1001372 and engine number CB750E-1001492 along with all important early sandcast engines cases
Restored by Rising Sun Restorations, initially by John Wyatt and completed by Phil Hagon following Wyatt’s passing in September 2001
Freshly UK-registered, fitted with a new battery and running and riding perfectly
