Looking for remote location away from the main road. I’m on the top floor currently and I don’t like and wouldn’t consider having neighbours above. I also want quiet, respectful neighbours around if there are any and I don’t mind if there aren’t.

I am open to a one bed property instead of the two beds I have now.

Property must not be in eye-line or earshot of the road. I’m interested in Mull and Iona but would consider anywhere in Scotland including the Western and Northern

I spend time on Iona particularly so somewhere with the same tranquility as the north end of Iona would be
preferable. Near a beach would be best though would consider all remote areas with wilderness proximity (hills and woodlands etc), minimal traffic, and away from busy roads. Don’t want to be too close to active farming vehicles or any noise sources either though could discuss the prevalence of this.
If it’s limited or at specific times I could consider.

Access to a shop required as I don’t drive but if I can get a delivery service (which rural
shops will often do) that would be fine. Public transport accessibility of some sort would be good but it doesn’t have to be regular and could be a request service like Ulva Ferry and some other remote areas have.

My flat is in a prime location on the edge of Glasgow’s West End, is in a very good state of repair) and has

- double glazing and gas central heating throughout
- two double bedrooms (facing north to the large car park and open grounds and other flats to the rear in a enclosed cul-de-sac)
- large living and dining room + separate spacious kitchen with room for a small table (facing south)
- bathroom with bath and shower
- five years old in a new-ish well kept development
- good neighbours
- secure tenancy for exchange with other secure tenant
- second floor (top)
- shared fenced back garden
- close to Victoria Park
- open views of the Clyde, Southside, and the hills beyond
- glass doors with Juliet balconies in one bedroom and the living/dining (good for planting wee things or just fresh air)
- Internal ventilation system that constantly refreshes the air inside with fresh air from the outside
- Roller blinds in mint condition fitted (available for a fee)
- Hardwood laminate in hall and living/dining; lino in kitchen and bathroom (available for a fee)
- Three minutes walk from main bus corridor connecting all of Glasgow and 20 minute walk from Partick Interchange (trains, buses, and subway)
- Near major transport links like the Clyde tunnel for drivers (you can also walk or cycle through this)
- Proximity to bustling neighbourhoods of Scotstoun, Partick, Finnieston, and Glasgow University (buses go through all of these in minutes and they are walking distance)
