Perfect location - a safe private villa in an idyllic rural setting that can easily be driven to if you don't fancy flying, with a bustling market town within walking distance.

Maison Boye combines the ancient charm and character of a 200 year old Quercy property with all the requirements for modern living. It has exposed oak beams, walls a yard thick, a traditional log fireplace, quarry tile floors ... plus bright new bathrooms, a contemporary kitchen, and a generous helping of home entertainments. It stands in private grounds of over an acre, has a large 10m x 5m swimming pool (with Roman steps, a water slide and underwater lighting), a sun terrace, a raised patio with shaded pergola and built-in stone barbecue. Maison Boye is equipped with fibre WiFi coverage inside and out, satellite radio & TV, portable streaming speaker system, DVD/CD players, Playstation, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, freezer, twin fridges etc. etc.

The property is fully serviced with bedmaking, laundry, linen and towels between lets, and has visiting pool maintenance twice a week.

Flexible accommodation makes Maison Boye suitable for a wide range of bookings - from discerning couples in the low season, through to a maximum of a large family of 10 in the summer.

A well behaved pet is welcome, but we don't let for events or parties.

Location: Caylus (20 miles south of Cahors)

Getting there: EasyJet / Ryanair / BA / Air France to Toulouse, or flights to Rodez, Brive or Carcassonne. Otherwise, 560 miles drive (nearly all motorways) from Calais.

Price: The prices include all rent, rates and fees, cleaning and reasonable use of electricity, gas and internet etc. There is also a £150 refundable inventory to cover lost keys / any serious damage.
