Originally the house was build as an atelier, the sculptor himself build the property with local materials, unique design and artistic details.

In recent years the property has been converted into a holiday let but we are committed to preserve and maintain this unique property without altering the original artistic features of the house.

The Sculptor's House is located at Aptera village (former Megala Chorafia). The village is home to the Ancient City of Aptera and boasts beautiful views overlooking both Souda Bay and the White Mountains.

Aptera is situated on the north-west coast of Crete between the coastal towns of Souda and Kalives. It is an excellent base from which to start your holiday in Greece and explore the many local places of interest.

The Ancient City of Aptera is a 10 minute walk from the house, while the scenic town of Chania with its Venetian harbour is a 20-minute drive away. Ioannis Daskalogiannis International Airport is 23 km away.
