Description
This lovely Marionette/clown puppet toy is vintage thus rare. It is believed to be based on Pinocchio and called 'Jumping Jack'. It is likely to be European and originate from Austria or Holland circa 1950s.
It is constructed from wood and is flat in shape. It has a pull string mechanism enabling the jointed limbs to splay when operated. The character is 8 inches tall and beautifully hand painted. He has a cute face and is wearing a bright red and yellow coloured jester outfit with white collar and gloves, a red hat and black shoes.
He would make a novelty gift for adults and children alike.
In perfect pre-owned condition. From a smoke and pet free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow at an agreed time or I am happy to package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap so all sensible offers will be considered.
