Technical Sales Executive (Geophysical instruments & sensors) – Oxfordshire, UK
A new vacancy for a Technical Sales Executive (GEOPHYSICS) with leading manufacturer of precision measurement instruments & sensors used for a wide range of scientific and industrial applications. Based at the company's headquarters in Oxfordshire, the Technical Sales Executive (GEOPHYSICS) will be part of a small team of scientists providing technical pre & post–sales support and training to customers in the UK and overseas. The role will be office–based in Oxfordshire, with occasional overseas business trips.
Main Duties:
Pre and post sales technical advice to customersCustomer support and product troubleshootingSales, marketing and competition analysis as requiredPerforming customer training sessionsAttendance at tradeshows and exhibitionsOther duties at the request of a Company Director or ManagerSkills and Experience:
Excellent written communicatorGood interpersonal attributesWell organisedSelf–motivated and enthusiasticMust be able to work in a teamRelevant industry experience and a physics or geophysics background with education to a degree level is preferred.Overseas travel will be required in this role.
