We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team. You'll manage a varied caseload of around 18 children, including CIN, CP, and CIC cases, and deliver effective, evidence–based interventions that truly impact lives.

Key Details:

Location: Tewkesbury Social Care Locality Office, GL20 5TTContract: 6–month assignment (Dec 2025 – May 2026)Rate: 42 per hourStart Date: 1 December 2025Working Pattern: Office–based 3 days per week, flexible/home working consideredWhat You'll Do:

Hold a mixed caseload including court workEnsure timely, high–quality interventions for children and familiesWork collaboratively with multi–agency partnersMaintain face–to–face contact with children (except in confirmed COVID cases)About You:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationStrong experience in child protection, care planning, and court workExcellent communication and relationship–building skillsAbility to work flexibly and manage competing prioritiesWe provide a laptop and smartphone to support flexible working and help you balance work and home life.
