Zest Optical are currently working alongside a well-established independent Opticians in Chippenham, Wiltshire to recruit a Part Time Optometrist to join their friendly and clinically focused team.

Optometrist - Role

Independent Opticians serving the local community for over 40 yearsContinuing to invest in the latest technologyClinically focused practice with 45-minute testing timesWork alongside two highly qualified Optometrists, both with Independent Prescribing qualificationsSupport from an experienced Dispensing Optician and trained Optical AssistantsTwo fully equipped test roomsAdvanced diagnostic equipment including:Topcon OCT (images taken by OA and reviewed in the testing room)Topcon Auto PhoropterHenson 9000iCare and Intellipuff tonometersTopcon MYAH for topography and myopia control measurementsFully electronic patient records using Optinet FlexSpecialist clinics including Myopia Control and ColorimetryPart time - 2 days per week plus 2 Saturdays per monthOpportunity to pick up additional days for holiday cover if desiredOption to swap Mondays for Thursdays to avoid bank holidaysSalary between GBP55,000 and GBP60,000 pro rataOne-hour lunch breakFree onsite parking Optometrist - Requirements
