Description

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting professionals to provide support to children in the Leeds area.

We are looking for dedicated support workers with a positive and committed attitude to going the extra mile to ensure a positive and safe experience for children. Please note, we are currently offering flexible/part–time roles rather than full–time positions.

Key Requirements:

12 months of paid UK experience in the health and social care sector – at least 2 references

Proven experience working with children in the UK

Flexibility to travel within the area and adapt to varying shift patterns, including weekends and night shifts – good availability

Resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable young people

NVQ Level 3 in children and young people is preferred but not mandatory

Must be registered with Social Care – DBS in the updated service

What are we expecting you to do as a support worker:

– Ensure a supportive experience for children, especially in sensitive situations like post–domestic abuse/neglect

– Write reports every session analysing the attitudes and interactions

– Monitor children's mood and make sure they are safe at all times

Additional Details:

Driving licence is preferred

This role requires in–person attendance
