Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker with a passion for making a difference? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in beautiful Torbay!

About the Role:

As a Children's Social Worker in Torbay's Assessment & Intervention Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring children and families receive the support they need at the point of referral. You will:

Carry out timely, thorough assessmentsManage risk confidently and effectivelyEnsure decisions are child–centred and defensibleThis is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while you continue to make a real impact in safeguarding vulnerable children.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who:

Have at least three years of post–qualifying experience (PQE) working in children's services within an English local authority.Must not have left a permanent social work role in the past 6 months from a children's services department or a local authority in the South West region.Strong experience in front–door, assessment, or A&I teams is essential.Driver is essential for this role.Benefits:
